I certainly respect your right to go witho...Chris,<br /><br />I certainly respect your right to go without voting - frankly, I wish more people thought this way. The entire premise bothers me a bit: if your candidate wins, you consent. If not, you consent. If you don't vote, you consent. Not really much of a contest or choice at all, come down to it.<br /><br />As to the ID issue: I just can't imagine why anyone walking in with a name is permitted to vote, so long as that name is on the list. Who the heck says that I'm me? I could be stealing another's vote just as easily, and this might not be noticed at all unless they attempt to vote as well.
